Germany, a key market for heat pump manufacturer Nibe, saw a 44 percent year-on-year increase in heat pump subsidy applications in April. Compared to the previous month, however, applications fell by 4.5 percent.
This is according to statistics from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
The number of heat pump subsidy applications in April totaled 31,780, compared to 22,032 during the same period in 2025. In March 2026, the figure stood at 33,288.
Nibe shares were up 2.8 percent around midday on Thursday.
NIBE Industrier AB is a leading company specializing in the manufacturing and marketing of heating systems and products in Europe. Net sales (including intragroup) break down by family of products as follows:
