Georges De Macedo has been appointed Chief Risk Officer of the Covéa Group and will join the Group Executive Committee as of April 1, 2026. He succeeds Lionel Calvez, who will take on other executive roles within the group. In 2022, Georges De Macedo joined Covéa as Director, responsible for assignments within the Group Finance Division, before being named Chief Executive Officer of Covéa Insurance in the United Kingdom in 2023.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers ParisTech and the Institut des Actuaires, he joined Mazars in 2005, where he led audit and consulting missions in the insurance sector.
In 2015, he joined the SCOR Group as Chief Accounting Officer for the life business, and from 2018 onwards, he held the position of Chief Accounting Officer for the group.
