Firefly Aerospace named Ramon Sanchez as its chief operating officer.
Sanchez is scheduled to start on Dec. 22 and manage production scaling and operational execution, the defense technology company said Thursday.
Sanchez, 56, has worked at Boeing for 25 years.
He has experience with commercial, classified and human space flight missions, as well as with production operations for commercial, civil and national security programs.
Firefly plans to pay Sanchez an annual base salary of $425,000, plus a $42,000 sign-on bonus and a $50,000 relocation allowance.
