Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Issues the following General Correspondence Duke Energy: On March 25, 2026, Jeremy Varner and Maxwell Fowler inspected the Rhodhiss Development and on March 26, 2026, they inspected the Lookout Shoals Development,both of the Catawba-Wateree Project No. 2232. We appreciate the courtesy extended by your staff during the inspection.
The inspectors found no problem that would present an immediate concern for dam safety or continued operation. Please note that if we identify any additional items requiring follow-up action during preparation of our Dam Safety Inspection Report, we will contact you by phone and/or email and subsequently issue another letter. We appreciate your continued cooperation in ensuring the safety of your project.
