"On June 2, 2025, I assumed the role of interim CEO for Fastator, and the second quarter can be summed up as an eventful period. The work to create a more focused, transparent, and financially stable Fastator has continued, and the goal remains unchanged. Step by step, through cooperation between the board and management, we aim to restore trust and create the conditions for long-term value creation," said interim CEO Jonas Sundin.
He continued:
"The company is in a challenging position where we do not meet the requirements for our outstanding bonds in AB Fastator. Since July 1, 2025, this also applies to our bond in Fastator's subsidiary Point Properties Portfolio 1 AB. Together with the board, management has worked intensively to find solutions to this. Ongoing discussions are being held with bondholders in both companies, and our ambition is to reach solutions acceptable to both bond investors and the group as a whole."
Last year, Fastator was forced to make significant write-downs, which sharply reduced net asset value. In 2025, the company has seen clear stabilization in asset values.
"What we are hopefully seeing is a sustainable turnaround for Fastator, and we believe in our goal--to create value through property-related investments and continued project development, as well as to be an active owner in our associated companies," Sundin concluded.
