Eurazeo successfully completes final closing of EPD VII fund
Eurazeo has announced the final closing of its private debt fund, Eurazeo Private Debt VII (EPD VII), at a record 3.9 billion euros, significantly exceeding its initial target of 3 billion euros.
This success illustrates investors' renewed confidence in Eurazeo's Private Debt strategy and reflects continued strong interest in the European lower mid-market segment, according to the investment firm.
This latest vintage brings the total size of the seventh program to 5.5 billion euros, which includes nearly 1 billion euros raised from private clients, alongside commitments and mandates from institutional investors.
International investors account for over 60% of commitments, confirming the growing interest in the fund, particularly in North America and Asia, from investors seeking diversified exposure to European private debt.
With more than 70 companies already financed across Europe, EPD VII is 65% deployed, representing 2.5 billion euros in committed capital. Assets under management for the Private Debt strategy now exceed 11 billion euros, accounting for 29% of Eurazeo's total assets under management.
