Danone announced on Tuesday a 4.8% increase in third-quarter revenue on a like-for-like basis, surpassing expectations, and reaffirmed its 2025 targets. The company attributed its strong performance to robust momentum across all categories, particularly in China, North Asia, and Oceania.

Revenue for the period reached EUR6.88 billion. Analysts had forecast like-for-like growth of 4.3%, according to a consensus provided by Danone.

The food group confirmed its targets for the current year, including like-for-like revenue growth between 3% and 5%, with recurring operating income expected to grow at a faster pace than revenue.

Meanwhile, the owner of Activia yogurts and Evian water increased its prices by 1.6%, compared to a 1.4% rise expected by consensus.
