In a brief press release, Alstom announced that it has been awarded a new signaling contract within the Europe region for approximately 295 million euros. The specialist in smart and sustainable mobility will book this order in the fourth quarter of its 2025/2026 fiscal year.
Danone
Danone is "discreetly studying with the American investment bank Centerview Partners" a takeover of the Reckitt subsidiary, according to La Lettre. The British firm had put 17 billion dollars on the table in 2017 to acquire Mead Johnson. However, nearly 10 years later, the diversification project has failed to meet its objectives. Write-downs, disposals, and lawsuits in the United States have marked recent years, creating an interesting opportunity for Danone. It should be noted, however, that this rumor resurfaces periodically.
DMS
The French medtech Diagnostic Medical Systems announced it has obtained European MDR 5 certification (Medical Device Regulation - EU Regulation 2017/745) for its Stratos and Stratos DR bone densitometry systems. For DMS Group, this validation not only ensures the continued marketing of its systems in Europe but also attests to the quality of its "Made in France" production.
emeis
emeis' 2025 revenue rose by 6.1% on a like-for-like basis to nearly 5,895 million euros. The momentum is mainly driven by nursing homes (nearly 2/3 of the group's activity), where revenue grew by 8.1% organically, fueled by a significant recovery in the average occupancy rate (up 2 percentage points over 12 months). The occupancy rate rose by an average of 1.8 points over one year to 87.6%: a favorable trend that continues into early 2026. On a like-for-like basis, the group's EBITDAR rose by 19.2%, and EBITDA increased by 58% compared to 2024. This momentum did not weaken in the second half, with EBITDAR notably up 18.7% compared to the first half.
Engie
Engie is accelerating the development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in two key European countries. The French energy group announced the acquisition of two BESS projects in Spain, totaling 278 MW / 1.1 GWh of capacity. These projects, which will allow for up to 4 hours of energy storage, are the largest currently under development in the country, where Engie already operates 1.8 GW of renewable capacity. Furthermore, Engie has begun construction of its first battery energy storage project in France. Located in the commune of Castelnau-d'Aude, in the Aude department, the site covers 2 hectares near a grid connection point.
Eramet
According to the Financial Times, the anchor shareholder of the French mining group has mandated Lazard to explore its options as Eramet undergoes a period of severe financial and governance tension. The Duval family, which holds 37% of Eramet's capital, has reportedly tasked Lazard with examining a possible sale of its stake, the Financial Times reports, citing several sources close to the matter. This deliberation comes as the group prepares a 500 million euro capital increase to shore up its financial position. Since the beginning of the year, the share price has plummeted by nearly 20%, bringing the market capitalization to approximately 1.4 billion euros.
LDC
During its fourth fiscal quarter (from December 2025 to February 2026), LDC's revenue came in at 1,975.8 million euros, up 12.5% on a reported basis. On a like-for-like basis, growth reached 9.2%, with sales of 1,916.2 million euros compared to 1,755.6 million euros a year earlier. On the back of this dynamic end to the fiscal year, LDC confirmed an upward revision of its annual targets, with revenue exceeding the 7 billion euro threshold and profitability expected to surpass initial expectations; the annual EBITDA target is now expected to "significantly exceed" the 560 million euros initially targeted.
Paref
Virgin Active has chosen "The Medelan" to launch its new "Social Wellness Club" concept over nearly 2,800 sqm in the heart of Milan. The PAREF group, which managed the redevelopment of the asset, is now responsible for its management. This new club will offer a unique and immersive experience, combining high-end fitness, wellness, coworking spaces, and areas dedicated to recovery and nutrition.
