FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX Broker) - Shares in CTS Eventim plummeted on Friday following the release of strong annual results overshadowed by disappointing full-year targets. The stock recently tumbled 15 percent to 54.20 euros.
On Thursday evening, the ticketing and live entertainment provider presented its 2025 financial results alongside its objectives for 2026. While the market initially highlighted the surprisingly robust fourth-quarter figures as a positive, the outlook drew sharp criticism.
One trader described the guidance as "somewhat disappointing" and pointed to the company's planned dividend cut. JPMorgan analyst Lara Simpson expects the targets to "spark debate" and anticipates that consensus estimates for adjusted EBITDA could be revised downward by a mid-to-high single-digit percentage./ck/stk
