'We are constantly monitoring fuel availability at the airports we serve and, as the French and Dutch governments have noted in recent weeks, all signals are green for the summer peak in July and August,' said CEO Benjamin Smith. 'During this period, our airlines will operate nearly 2,200 flights per day to more than 320 destinations worldwide.'

In parallel, to offer customers greater flexibility, Air France-KLM has announced the launch, effective June 3, of an unprecedented promotional campaign by Air France, KLM, and Transavia for travel departing from France. The offer includes tickets that can be modified free of charge, regardless of the selected fare or cabin class (Economy, Premium, or Business for Air France and KLM).

For Air France and KLM, this campaign applies to long-haul routes departing from France. From June 3 to 17, all tickets purchased—regardless of travel date, fare, or cabin—will be modifiable at no extra cost until the actual date of travel.

For Transavia France, from June 3 to 9, the 'Flex' option will be offered free of charge, compared to the usual 10 EUR fee, on all routes departing from mainland France. Transavia will also offer discounts on a selection of flights from Paris and French regional airports to Europe and North Africa.

A similar campaign will be launched by KLM and Transavia in the coming days for travel departing from the Netherlands.

Regardless of the purchase date, and independent of this promotional campaign, Air France, KLM, and Transavia pledge not to apply any fare adjustments due to potential fuel cost increases for bookings that have already been confirmed and paid for.
