The nomination committee of gold mining company Botnia Gold proposes the election of Henrik Grind to the board at the annual general meeting later this year. He most recently served as General Manager of Boliden's Kevitsa mine in Finland, according to a press release.

The nomination committee will also propose an additional member for election to the board prior to the meeting.

Board member Jan Marklund has declined re-election.

The re-election of Chairman Pär Weihed and board members Andreas Bladh, Rikard Östberg, and Anders Lindgren is proposed.

Botnia Gold has also entered into an agreement with Per-Erik Lindvall as a senior advisor. He brings over 40 years of experience from the mining industry in Sweden and internationally. Lindvall has held senior positions at LKAB and Boliden and previously served as CEO of Kaunis Iron.
