Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA announced that Ole Book will become the new director sport of the company, effective March 25, 2026. Book will sign a contract with Borussia Dortmund valid until June 30, 2029.
Ole Book has previously worked at Sportvereinigung 07 Elversberg e.V., first as director sport and most recently as managing director sport. With him in charge of sporting affairs, Elversberg made the leap from the Regionalliga to the top of the 2. Bundesliga, developing many young talents along the way and simultaneously building squad value. Borussia Dortmund will officially introduce Ole Book at a press conference on March 25, 2026.
