Capital Fund Management has increased its short position in mining group Boliden to 0.5 percent of the share capital. The position has consequently crossed the threshold for public disclosure, making the firm a new public short seller in the company, according to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI) short-selling register.

This marks the presence of one public short seller in Boliden. In total, 1.29 percent of the company's capital is currently shorted. The Financial Supervisory Authority requires positions exceeding 0.1 percent to be reported, while short positions above 0.5 percent must be made public.
