The board of directors of Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. (Bank) has received resignation letters from non-executive directors Mr. Li Longcheng and Mr. Wang Linping. Mr. Li Longcheng has submitted his resignation to the Board as a non-executive director, member of the Audit Committee, and member of the Personnel and Remuneration Committee, due to age reasons; Mr. Wang Linping has submitted his resignation to the Board as a non-executive director, member of the Strategy Committee (Inclusive Finance Development Committee), and member of the Risk Management and Related Party Transactions Control Committee, due to age reasons. Their resignations will take effect from 15 August 2025.
Mr. Li Longcheng and Mr. Wang Linping have confirmed that they have no disagreements with the Board and there are no matters relating to their resignations that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders and creditors of the Bank.
