On January 27, 2026, Armstrong World Industries, Inc. and Austin K. So, the Company?s Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Head of Government Relations & Chief Sustainability Officer, Secretary, finalized their mutual agreement regarding his separation, effective April 1, 2026. This separation aligns with a broader board and management transition, which will also be effective April 1, 2026, including the previously announced appointments of a new Executive Chair of the Company?s Board of Directors and a new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Armstrong World Industries, Inc. designs, innovates, and manufactures ceiling and wall system solutions. The Company manufactures and sources products made of numerous materials, including mineral fiber, fiberglass wool, metal, wood, wood fiber, glass-reinforced-gypsum and felt. It also manufactures ceiling suspension system (grid) products. Its Mineral Fiber segment produces suspended mineral fiber and soft fiber ceiling systems.
