Air France-KLM Could See Part of Its Debt Written Off

According to La Lettre, the government may proceed with a write-off of Air France-KLM's debt for up to €728 million next year.

This measure, which is part of the draft finance bill, is made possible by a decision from the European Commission allowing the state to compensate for losses related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the stock market, investors appear largely unfazed, with Air France-KLM shares edging up by 0.49% to €11.30. Since the beginning of the year, the airline group's stock has shown little movement, posting a decline of 2.77% at Monday's close.
