March 3 (Reuters) - British money manager Aberdeen reported a 4% rise in annual profit on Tuesday, benefiting from its cost-control measures.

The company posted an adjusted operating profit of 264 million pounds ($352.55 million) for the year ended December, up from 255 million pounds a year earlier.
